Why scientists are curious about the planet Mars?

Sounds similar? Yes, guys! This is the order of the planets of our universe from the Sun. As of now let’s focus on this guy named Mars and why every space agency is keen on him.
And I tell you why aren’t we curious about neighbors in general? Let’s say your street has few houses and yours is the third one in the row. You are living in the same house for years but you see no signs of neighbors. The first two houses are haunted and the temperature there is very high so you aren’t interested in them. But you are curious about that fourth house in the lane as your family gets bigger, you need an extra house to manage.
So you keenly watch over the fourth house and you start feeling like somebody had already lived there. By this, you can come to two conclusions.
1. If some people had already lived, why can’t you?
2. If there were people, where are they now? Is your house’s fate anyhow related to the fourth house’s fate?
To find all the answers you should get to that house and explore things. That’s what scientists are doing about Mars. And the fourth house in your lane is Mars.
So, basically exploring Mars would suggest ideas about whether the lifeforms existed previously or if it can be used to study and analyze our earth.
Several Space agencies have been trying to explore mars thoroughly since 1960s. There were several Mars missions, few of them succeeded, and other few failed.
Speaking of Mars, since it is farther than Earth from the sun it takes longer to revolve around the Sun. As we know, one revolution around the Sun makes a year; the longer it takes to revolve the number of days in a year. One year on Mars is 687 Earth days.
Once in 26 months, both Earth and Mars get closer and that’s the correct time to launch missions to Mars.
Few countries including India have already reached Mars successfully. China launched its first mission to Mars in July 2020 but it seems like not to go in the right way.
